Keep Your Eyes Safe This Halloween

However, it is important for you to take the steps that are necessary for protecting your eyes. Below is a list of things you can do to keep your eyes safe this Halloween:

See An Eye Doctor If You Want To Put In Colored Contacts

Many people wear colored contacts as a part of their Halloween costume. However, if you want to put in colored contacts, then you should see an eye doctor. Serious eye damage can result if the colored contacts do not fit properly.

People who have never worn contacts before may not know how to put them in correctly. Additionally, if contacts are not worn properly, then you can develop an eye infection and go blind. An eye doctor can ensure that your contacts fit properly.

There are several steps you need to take in order to safely apply contacts. Wash your hands prior to putting in the contacts. You should put the contacts in before you put on your face paint or makeup. Additionally, you will need to remove the contacts before going to bed.
